The Community Foundations of Canada is the national network for Canada’s 191 community foundations. The CFC helps Canadians invest in making their communities better places to live, work and play.
What is a community foundation?
Community foundations have an intimate knowledge of local priorities, and so can champion causes that matter most to their unique communities. They contribute time, leadership and financial support to local initiatives, such as shelter, education, the arts, the environment, and recreation — whatever their communities are most in need of.
Toronto Foundation
The Toronto Foundation facilitates charitable donations to align with the specific mandates of its member organizations – such as the DeRo Foundation – to make the maximum impact in the Toronto community.
The Toronto Foundation pools philanthropic dollars, facilitate charitable donations, and through strategic granting, thought leadership, and convening, engages in city building to improve the quality of life in Toronto.
